SCTE Benelux Lecture at IBC Focuses on IP Delivery

7 September 2016 -- Don’t miss the SCTE Benelux Lecture on 12 September 2016 in the Forum Lounge (RAI Centre) at this year’s IBC. Its theme is ‘All-Invasive IP Taking Over Distribution Networks?’ and it will feature presentations from Liberty Global, Viavi Solutions, GlobTel Holdings and Axon Digital Design. Attendance is free - email office@thescte.eu if you wish to attend.

Following a complimentary light lunch buffet for all lecture attendees at 12.30pm, the presentations will commence at 14.00. At the conclusion of the afternoon session, there will be a drinks reception at 17.30. Presentations include:

14.00 – 14.45 “Managing never-ending complexity with the right tools and methodologies”
by Per Kangru, Technologist in the CTO Office, Viavi Solutions.
14.45 – 15.30:    “How to build a next generation telecommunication platform”  by Geert Blondeel, Senior Advisor, Globtel Holding d.o.o , GlobTel.
16.00– 16.45:  “Ethernet will always win, but how will it be adopted?” by Peter Schut, CTO, VP of R&D, Axon Digital Design BV.
16.45 – 17.30: “New technologies to enable Gbit speeds” by Mircea Damian, Director of DOCSIS Engineering, LGI.

Presented papers will be available for members to download from the SCTE website after the event.
