Troicom, Inc., Showcases its LoRa Technology Innovations at IBC 2017, the World's Largest Media, Entertainment & Technology Show, in Partnership with Remote Solution Co. Ltd.

TUSTIN, Calif., Aug. 16, 2017 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Troicom, Inc., showcases its LoRa technology innovations for enterprise and personal communications markets in marketing and manufacturing partnership with Remote Solution Co., Ltd, at IBC 2017.  Remote Solution's stand, C53 in Hall 5, in RAI Amsterdam, Netherlands, between September 15 and 19, 2017.

The partnership between Troicom, Inc., and Remote Solution Co., paves the way to bring unique wireless innovations to the fast expanding LoRa markets throughout the world.  "We are very excited to partner with Remote Solution, a well-established global leader in the television, telecommunications and home automation industry, to bring our wireless technologies to a number of expanding LoRa markets in a time-efficient manner." says Andrew Baek, CEO and founder of Troicom, Inc.  "The collaboration with Troicom will allow us to enter the LoRa markets with a desirable set of features that can bring competitive benefits to our potential customers." states Yoon Choi, Executive Director of Global Sales at Remote Solution Co., Ltd.

Troicom addresses the enterprise LoRa market with introduction of a compact LoRa gateway platform with embedded network server capability.  Running embedded Linux on 1GHz ARM processor, the gateway allows real-time monitoring of the uplink data traffic from all registered devices and can support a range of backhaul options, including Ethernet, WiFi/Bluetooth, and cellular connectivity.   The company also announces that it is developing LoRa-based geolocation capability.  The growing market demand for GPS-free geolocation has prompted Troicom to intensity its strategy of addressing the market demand.  By expanding its technology portfolio to include geolocation, Troicom will be even better positioned to meet all the needs of the marketplace.

Leveraging LoRa's extended link capability, the company has introduced an effective personal wireless system without the carrier infrastructure, the Drop.  The Drop users can wirelessly connect to each other, and track their loved ones and valuables wherever they go. The Drop's link-range optimized protocol can provide wireless communication ranges from nearly a mile in heavily urban areas to 10 miles in open areas.  The Drop tag contains a GPS receiver, 6-axis motion sensor, and LoRa radio as well as optional BLE module.  Its wearable form factor allows it to be attached to almost anything that can be tracked.  In the low power mode, a fully charged Drop Tag can last several months.  The Drop is currently available for pre-order at Indiegogo InDemand, https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/drop-the-wireless-network-built-by-you-smartphone.
